Six ingredients to self-improvement
Truth be said, there is no correct answer to that fundamental question. There is no universal path or how-to guide to becoming a better self. But there are certain attitude shifts you can adopt to get closer to that goal. Greatist‘s life coach columnist Susie Moore has come up with 6 easy ways to get you on the right track:
1. Be compassionate
2. Know your values
3. Be open
4. Be encouraging
5. Follow through
6. Be a miracle for others
And to achieve this, she says, you must first take care of one person: yourself. “As the old saying goes, you can’t pour from an empty cup. So in order to be a person who injects more love into this world, you have to fall in love with yourself first.”
