Whether it’s well-intentioned or otherwise, we all sign up to be on mailing lists of stores and sites we like, for household tips and more. But, time goes on and it becomes clear that we don’t want to subscribe to them anymore.

Most people just spam the emails, but that doesn’t keep them from coming. Have you considered unsubscribing to the emails you no longer want?

It’s not as hard as you think

As mentioned in Lifewire‘s post, “How to Unsubscribe From Emails”, there are several ways in which you can unsubscribe from an emailing list, and none of them are going to be as hard as you’re thinking right now. A few of the top options include:

  • Scroll down to find “Unsubscribe” in the email that you receive
  • Instruct your email program to mark the email as spam (which will redirect it)
  • Use an official unsubscribe list or app

All of these vary in their amount of effort, and you may find that one way works better than another. For more information on how to make each of these work, have a look at the post found here!
